The shirt that I have was made at Kinko's. They are able to imprint a 8" by 11" computer graphic onto a shirt if you bring it in on a ZIP disk. My graphic maxes out their 400 pixel per inch capability, which is why it is so big, even though it is a JPEG. Not all Kinko's can make shirts. Only one in the Milwaukee area was able to do this, but the colors are surprisingly vivid, though these shirts should not be washed too often. Kinko's provides shirts for $15 each, so we just brought in our own. They have to be WHITE shirts because the ink is translucent. WARNING! I have found the color fades significantly after the first washing. To make your own, the following ZIPPED file should be downloaded, unzipped, and put on a ZIP disk for them. This graphic will have to be inverted by them, but our Kinko's said that this is standard procedure so I figure that this shouldn't be done FOR them in fear of them also doing it. |

I do not get downtown very often, but if anyone has trouble getting to a Kinko's in your area (or country), I can get one made for you and ship it out. They are not expensive. I bought my own shirt for $6.30 and brought it in. Kinko's charges about $7 to $8 for the graphic. Shipping depends on the country. :) If you don't have a ZIP disk, or a CD burner, my Kinko's said that they MAY have been able to download it off the Internet. They might charge you for it though. Making variants of this shirt design is not as easy as making variants of my insignias that I post. Photoshop does not expand graphics well, so I had to design this shirt graphic from scratch. But since Kinko's has no bulk order discount, special order shirts can be made. |
