Here's how this site is set up. The title image on the main page will change every time I update, so
it's easy to see when something new has been added. I tend to update at strange hours, sometimes I'm
nocturnal. This image is also the most recent addition, so it's not necessary to view the entire week
each time one stops by.
Inside of Untitled are the images I take each day, in blocks of a week each. Each image on these
pages is linked to my journal entry for that day, which sort of adds another layer to the "dynamic
self-portrait" idea.
The links to the journal entries go active as I update my journal--sometimes I update the images
earlier in the day. The most recent journal entry can also be reached from the "below" link on the
index page.
I often have more pictures or versions of pictures which I like than just one, so I'm putting my
favorite runners-up on "extras" pages--one for each day. So on any day one can look at the out-takes
and see even more. A little bit of a peek into the creative process maybe. Or maybe just a way to
get out of having to make absolute decisions. heh.
The title-versions of the images (the ones with "Untitled" on them) will also be in each day's
"extra" page, so if anyone wants to use a graphic link to here, they can pick their favorite of these
images and link to "http://www.ies.lafayette.in.us/~ginkgo/journal/untitled/". (Although the likelihood
of this seems slim, I hate throwing anything away.)
