There are twelve signs in the Chinese zodiac, and five elements: Metal, Earth, Fire, Water, and Wood.
Details about how each element influences the different zodiac signs will be on the Chinese zodiac pages I'm working
on right now. When I've got a beta page finished for the Sheep, I'll put the link here so you can read more
detailed information about Sheep and about how the different elements modify their personalities. Here's a basic Chinese-restaurant-place-mat type of description for Sheep: "Elegant and creative, you are timid and prefer anonymity. Nature loving. You have a tendency to worry too much. You are sensitive and a good friend. You are most compatible with Boars and Rabbits, but never the Ox. " 1997 is the Year of the Ox, here's how Sheep are expected to fare in 1997, according to Theodora Lau's book, The Handbook of Chinese Horoscopes: "A difficult year for the Sheep, as quarrels, misunderstanding and demands of family and friends keep him occupied. Financial trouble will result from extravagence and overspending. A hard time to find money. He could expect only moderate gains."
