Tubes from Jasc Software

|
From the makers of Paint Shop Pro (henceforth to be referred to as PSP), come some of the absolute best tubes to be found. Currently they've got sets on the following themes: Summer,
Spring, Easter, St. Patrick's Day, Valentine's Day, Holiday, Thanksgiving, Autumn, and Halloween. They seem to add more collections from time to time, although I'm new enough to this that
I'm not sure of that. But I'd recommend checking back from time to time for new sets.

Jungle 2D from DigArts Software

These are professionally made and are not free, but I'm listing them here because I liked them enough to buy them. Most of my greenery will be coming from this tube pack, which has tube sets for 48 different kinds of plants with a ton of
tubes for each plant, and also has branches and clouds and trees and so forth--just about everything one could possibly need for a nature scene, and quite useful for creating plants and flowers to put in vases for indoors scenes. I'm not affiliated
with any commercial concerns, but I adore this, so I'd recommend it to anyone who can afford to spend money on buying tube libraries. I've talked with the owner/creator on the phone and found him to be extremely helpful and personable, so that's one more nice
thing about this product. The web site has tutorials and galleries of some images created with their products, along with a nice selection of samples from the collections so you have a very good idea of what you're buying. There's even a "light" version available which
is cheaper and just has less sizes of the tubes (the tubes come in various sizes so they'll look good big and small--it's quite comprehensive). I love this product, and I'm glad to have found out that by buying it I supported an artist (and an extremely nice one at that)
rather than some huge corporate entity.

The Hood

You'll find a bunch of fabulous and extremely useful tubes here, including fire, sparkles, lighting flares, water droplets, trees, a grape set, snowflakes, and lighting flares among other
things. If you need a sparkle to light a candle with, use the H Sparkle White which can be found there. There are also a lot of tutorials for using PSP here, and if you're curious about the quality, well, she's working with two other people on a book on PSP 6
(Paint Shop Pro in a Nutshell) for O'Reilly & Associates, which I think speaks rather highly of her since O'Reilly generally puts out very good books. She states that the tutorials on her pages are very simple and designed for beginners.

Solarfox's Tube Outlet

|
This place is just full of goodies, from food and furniture to butterflies and flowers to animals and musical instruments. If you find the site navigation confusing, trot on over to his Downloads pages.
The quantity and quality of tubes available here amazes me. Neat stuff! This is certainly one of my very favorite tubes resources.

Paint Shop ProPourri

Ooooh, what a site! The tubes here are to die for. There's gorgeous gems (tons of gems!), book spines (like for loading bookshelves with), fabulous baskets (boxes/purses/baskets, something of that sort), several good chairs, lots of great decorative stone columns, bats, dinosaurs, and more.
Her main site also includes brushes, Blade Pro presets, and a few tutorials.

Designs by LC -- Tubes for PSP

|
These tubes are just wonderful. I've used the calla lily so far, am planning on making judicious use of the ivy, and imagine I'll use a lot of the other tubes here in the future because they're just so
good. This is the place for a number of really nice flowers, some great nature stuff (leaves and rocks), some holiday tubes (I especially like the candy and gingerbread people), very neat sewing tubes, and a number of
miscellaneous tubes. You can find some other fun things at her main site as well.

Vistar's Tubes

|
This is a magnificent collection of tubes for PSP.
Also to be found from Vistar's main page is the very useful
Tubes Directory with links to scads of tubes sites and lists of the sorts of tubes
they offer so you can search it by using the Edit-->Find function on your browser. (I mention another searchable tubes link page farther down on this page if that's the sort of thing you're looking for.)

5th Street Studio

|
This place is a treasure trove. My favorite areas are her textures (seamless wallpaper tiles) and her tubes. I've already used her diamonds tube. I'm sure I'll be using more in the future, but as I write this I've just started my project, so I don't know what all
I'll be using. But I wanted to make especial note of her site because I think her it's an excellent resource for people looking for tubes and patterned tiles to stock their graphics
toolboxes with. Don't miss out on visiting this site because it's incredibly useful and offers things of extremely high quality. This is one of my all-time favorite sites for tubes and textured tiles.

Victorian & Fantasy PSP Tubes by Anne Gerdes

|
Three reasons for listing this site. One, she has some incredibly wonderful Victorian and fantasy tubes here. Two, although she doesn't require a link, she mentions that one would be nice, and I do like to
try to be nice. Three, she has some fabulous fairy tubes offered here which I have't used yet but intend to in the future, so I wanted to have something up to give her credit for when I do, and I wanted to
have the link up for people looking for really good fairy tubes created from her original art as well as from public domain art. And if you're looking for just a fun place to search,
try her main site for neat things including galleries of fairy art, a gallery of really neat mural art she's done, and a ton of pages about very creative dollhouses and dollhouse
miniatures she's created. As these are all things which interest me, I was in heaven there.

"Free Tubes"

|
If you have any trouble navigating this site, go to the archive there to find an index of the pages of png's which can be converted into tubes. This site is a bit of a hodge-podge, but it's well
worth sifting through for the huge number of really great images which can be found here--it's one of my favorite tubes resources, and there's some other very neat stuff here as well as tubes. I found this site via a link calling it, "Free Tubes from Diana", but didn't
see her name anywhere on the site (perhaps I just ran through too quickly--it's a big site and I've bookmarked it for further explorations beyond the tubes sections), so perhaps I'm wrong in calling it just "Free Tubes". Well, by any name, it's a very good site.

Kathi's PSP Brushes and Tubes

|
This is part of Kathi Lawson's main site which is situated on Geocities still, while her domain is at kathilawson.com, so if this link
goes bad, you'll know where to not only find Kathi's other cool sites, but how to find her brushes and tubes if and when they move. These are a few really wonderful brushes and tubes for PSP, from printers ornaments to Chinese design motifs from a Dover
book both her and I own. I think she's just a goddess for turning these into brushes and tubes as I've had enough problems working with the ones I scanned from my own book, so I know how much work she's put into this. I've yet to use any of these as I was working
with my own copy of the Chinese design motifs book before I found her site, but I may use some in the future. Most of the Chinese design motifs you'll find on my site will probably always be my own (all are mine currently), however, because she didn't do the whole book since she's not
a cyborg with nothing better to do, after all. But those she did make will save me some time if I ever wish to use ones from my book which she did convert into brushes and tubes. We shall see. In the meantime, if you want Chinese design motifs or a number of other cool things, go
check out what she's got.

PSP Tubes by Wendallzmom

I particularly liked some of the tubes I found here, such as the morning glories and the grape leaves, so I wanted to list the site here as a nice site for tubes, and as the place I found certain things. I haven't used any of these
tubes yet, but figure that either I will use them in the future, or someone will happen along who's desperately seeking some morning glories or grape leaves and will be glad that I mentioned this here. Sort of a credit link for the future/place to
point people to find certain tubes from my tutorial pages. There's also several other rather nice tubes in this collection as well, two of my favorites being the bluebirds and the squirrels created from photographs from
Jon's World o' Squirrels (god, what a cool site, but then you have to realize that we have some rather humorous squirrels who share our yard with us, so I have a big soft spot for squirrels). Ah yes, and
there's some really cute tubes to be found here for those of you who like cute stuff--for instance, there's some adorable bears here I think I might use in the future nursery.

"Paint Shop Pro Graphics"

|
This appears to be the mother of all PSP links sites, with more categories of links than I've had time to look yet. My first goal is to slowly work my way through the fabulous alphabatized-by-subject page of
PSP tubes links. From my use of this page so far, I'd have to say that this list of tubes links is simply invaluable. It's a must
for anyone searching for a tube of something particular. Go bookmark these pages now if you're on a PSP-related search. I mean it. This is the ultimate source of PSP links as far as I'm concerned--it's
both huge and extremely useful due to the subject matter indexing.
|
Stardust's Mega PSP Links Page

|
Yet another huge links page which I'm still working my way through. Tons of links to tubes sites, and also links to PSP tutorials, filters, plug-ins, and special effects stuff. If you want to just dive into a huge list of links, this is a great second choice after the links page I mention right above here.
